Karen made this jacket of the purple and gold woven silk she bought at Stonemountain and Daughter. It was made using the Princess Jacket from the Pattern Master Boutique software program.

Here's a close-up of the gold cord trim that she hand stitched to the front and back princess seams. This emphasizes the seams and creates nice vertical slimming lines. A subtle touch, but a great effect. Still very classic, just like Karen prefers.

Karen's special treat, gold trim where the silk lining attaches to the facings. It's these special touches that create a couture quality garment.
